WWWriter's PLACE

Header Menu

Each of the branches of the WWWriters' PLACE named in the header at the top of the page is a navigation button.
Courses opens a menu of college courses currently being offered for credit through AnokaRamsey Community College in Minnesota.

Discovery, Planning, Drafting, Revising, and Editing  are all phases of the writing process. Use these buttons to navigate easily from one area of this non-linear process to another.  Each of these four sections is divided into "Thinking," Reading," and "Writing" to emphasize the essential relationships that creative thinking and critical reading have with college writing.

Search will take you to a hyperlinked index of topics. In this index you can click on the topic you want and jump there directly.

Home will take you back to the homepage of the WWWriters' PLACE from wherever you are in the Web site. This header menu appears at the top of every page.

The Handbook is presented as an online supplement to the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers.  MLA guidelines are referenced throughout the WWWriters' PLACE for formatting academic papers and documenting sources.

At the bottom of each page or screen, there will usually be a hyperlink to take you back to the top of the page where you will find the WWWriters' PLACE menu bar to navigate to the next page of your choice.
