When written work goes from the writer to the target audeince, we say it is "published." In this writing course here at the Writers' PLACE you will probably publish your writing in a final portfolio that contains your best work for the term. If you are working independently here, then you may be sending your work to the editor of an academic or commercial publication, or you may be self-publishing on the Web. You will find some instructions and tips here for this final stage of the writing process.
